High Demand for Aloe Products in Emerging Ethnic Markets

Lacey  WA    Aloe vera is one of the most commonly used herbal ingredients in Hispanic homes and its clear these households place a high value on herbal remedies.  In one recent study it was found that 77% of Hispanic respondents had used heral remedies in comparison with only 47% of non-Hispanic whites.

Hispanics display a more culturally traditional pattern of use handed down from one generation to the next whereas non-Hispanic whites tend to follow more recent even faddish trends.
